World Politics founded in 1948, is an internationally renowned quarterly political science journal published in print and online versions. Open to contributions by scholars, World Politics invites the submission of research articles that make theoretical and empirical contributions to the literature and review articles bearing on problems in international relations and comparative politics. The journal does not publish articles on current affairs, policy pieces, or narratives of a journalistic nature. Articles submitted for consideration are unsolicited, except for review articles, which are usually commissioned.

The World Policy Institute (IWP) is an independent graduate school established to meet an essential national need: to provide professional training in government administration, national security, intelligence and international relations that no other school offers and few acquire outside of a whole school. Several faculty members hold high government positions but continue to teach at the Institute. These include ambassadors, senior intelligence officials, military officials, presidential advisers, and senior congressional officials. Many courses have occasional guest speakers, many of whom are prominent figures in government and the wider political community.
